Locally, here are some highlights:

Service Projects

  • Haiti Project: A group of dedicated members sew dresses and boxer shorts for children at an orphanage in Haiti.
  • Fundraising: The group supports local projects, such as collecting books for the Lund Family Center’s Kids A Part program, and raises money for scholarships to aid future and current professionals. See the latest on the scholarships we offer.
  • Advocacy: Members who are active in the Vermont Legislature help us understand the latest in Montpelier and give us direction on how we can support legislation to help teachers.
  • Giving Back: Each year we meet with pre-service teachers to give tips and tricks on landing that first job in the field.
